You wait for Heaven as if it’s some far off place yet to come,
Yet the Kingdom of God is within you.
You deny what you are as a person,
You call your humanity sinfulness,
Yet you are made in the image of God.
You present God as a lover of rules and regulations,
Demanding that we stay within His boundaries, laws and restrictions,
Yet in the same breath you say that the ‘truth’ will set me free.
Which is it?
Do I live under a set of laws?
Exist only within the boundaries?
Or do I allow myself to be free?
